Write in a book you actually chose. Every notebook is one of two kinds. A journal keeps one page per day: a calendar to turn between, a daily prompt so the page is never blank, mood and weather in a tap, photos, tags and a writing streak. A plain notebook keeps numbered pages for anything at all, with two of them open and writable side by side the way a real notebook lies flat. Both let you pick the cover and the paper separately: cloth, marbled, oxblood leather, kraft, midnight or dotted board, over plain, ruled, cream, parchment, dark or dot-grid pages, in any colour you like. What you write is private to you and cannot be shared with anyone, by design.
